Ohhh,..O.K.,..I understand a little better, now.... DOH!! I was a tad confused at the end... I actually thought that the person on the other side of the beaded curtain caught Tony raping J.J. as Tony told him he wanted to beat the hell out of him, and that the Watcher was the one who was talking to Tony at the end there,..and that Tony was telling the Watcher to essentially shut up and let him finish with J.J. So,..of course,..I was thinking that the Watcher must be someone else close enough to Tony, somewhat in charge,..and yet tolerant of this type of behavior...
In that last panel,..I didn't recognize that as a kiss at all.... It just looked like more intense, nose-to-nose aggression to me... I saw no hint of intimacy from either side there... I guess,..because of the lick that seemed to accompany the "kiss" given by J.J. during that scuffle earlier, I assumed I would have seen some tongue with another kiss depiction... Since there wasn't that visual cue this time,... I totally missed it as a kiss...
Thanks for clearing all this up for me...
