Well, I'm just repeating myself and half of the FA crowd, so:

BRILLIANT!

Skunk? What skunk? *gg*

Well, at least it wasn't those fucking dogs playing poker....

Back to the topic on hand. So...Something happens to the skunk eh?

Tony Ray said, "We all know what they did to helicopter pilots."

Something awful probably, as if getting thrown in a Thaikong prison wasn't bad enough, assuming you lived that long.

All kidding aside Mulefoot, an excellent bit of whimsical watercolor work there. I like everyone's poses. Nothing like a good cigar, some brew and a couple of associates to hang out with.

Ha ha! Yep,..that is a fun little scene you painted there... Your control of the medium of watercolors is getting better and better at a wonderful pace!

But, of course,...the dialogue just HAD to take our concerns about the scenes to come and sharpen them down to an even finer point... We not only have our worries about the entire chopper crew as a whole,..but NOWWWWW we are left wondering what specifically horrible things are going to happen to the skunk...!!

Poor guy,...I guess he'll be given the chance to show his ass again....

Well, of course, then I ran across THIS one.

And probably not in a manner to which we'd ever like to see it again.

I love how the eyes of the dogs playing pool are MUCH more manic looking than the dogs playing poker, who look so serene.... As if all the dogs at the pool table right at that second noticed that the face of Satan momentarily appeared on their side of the cue ball, then vanished.... The artist just happened to catch "that" moment....

Yeah,..that's kinda fun to see an "up close and personal" image of that little scene...

It has to be a different scene. I lit that pic for daylight. See, I wasn't at all confident in my ability to paint it how it would look in moonlight. Dark dark dark. So here it is all brightly colored.

Yep,...lighting like that can be a damn tricky thing... Believe me,..I know!

Even though I did those "extreme lighting" versions of Tony Ray and Sam,...I'm STILL hemming and hawing over getting back to work on that piece I want to do in honor of Uthalla... Not only have I had so very little time (a key element in getting good lighting just right),... but also,...the meticulous effort involved in making the awkward light hit all those leathery scaley bits,....UGH!

Shades of the nightmare I went through getting that iguana-guy done for that new cover I showed you...(the one where I used my hand as the model for his hand hovering over that crystal).... WHEW!
