It's not looking pretty for the skunk,...but then,...they're ALL about to go to "funky town" when his spray cuts loose.... Tony and Cohen having their eyes closed will help them not go temporarily blind from the stinging, stinking spray,..but I'm wondering what kind of Houdini action's gonna get 'em out of those bindings....

Skunks can spray up to six times in a row.... I figured I'd just throw that out there...

The question for me is,...do they end up going to a POW camp, or is this the moment they make their break for freedom...

You know, one of the stories I've cut from the general arc but might do some day as a stand alone graphic novel revolves around what happens when some punks at gun point take his wallet. He doesn't care about the money...he just wants those pictures. Imagine the lengths he'd go to get the photos back. Imagine what happens to the street gang that decides they're going to fuck with him and keep the wallet as a way of trying to mess with him.

So I just had this image from "Bruce Almighty" although in this case, winged monkey's don't fly out this guys ass. Tony Ray reaches in and pulls out his still beating heart and says, "Ah'm gonna ask you one more time."

I can just see Cohen thinking "I'm not going to close my eyes, I'm not going to be a coward, I'm gonna keep them open and see what they do to Simon.." and catching a face full along with the enemy. If so, that might ensure that Tony Ray is the only one to get out of this alive. Since likely anyone who is still there when the enemy recovers from what's about to happen to them is not going to be still there, except as meat, after a delay that's about long enough to grab the nearest blade.

Speaking of blades, I notice that the "slopeaters--" interesting that Tony Ray would use that as an epithet against someone else-- are armed with what looks like SKS rifles. With the built-in bayonet. One of which, looking back a couple of frames, is fixed already. And the Motley Crew are not hogtied. Their feet are still free, as is logical. Wouldn't want to deny the Vietcong-analogs the recreation of torturing and beating POWs to get them to walk to their prison death camp. Their feet are free because they're supposed to be walking to their doom shortly.

Let's see. Tied hands, but their feet are free. The enemy is about to get a bad case of Mace-face, and at this moment Tony Ray and Simon are the only ones that know. There are naked blades about to cut the hand ropes. Tony and Company had better make their escape now, because I don't think there's going to be a better chance.

Will they make it? Based on this being the Slop world, no. Nothing can ever go right in this universe. But I'd say an attempt is pretty likely, at least.

Hm. A fair bet that Muley will survive.

You sure Muley survived? Considering how Slop works, he might just be in Hell. Only that would be Jack and not Slop, I guess.

In the same way that People from Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, Canada, etc are all HUMAN. Fitch are all Fitch.

Now this particular Fitch is of the "Mink" Variety, but what we would know as weasels, stoats, ferrets (or true polecats) and such would also be included.

Otters could be confused for fitch but they are often fatter and gayer.
