Living and Dead Foxes

Seems that there's been a case of mistaken identity. But who's really who? Is Brice really alive, or is it some strange trick?

And where do Mulefoot and Sam know eachother from? Hm.

From memory and clues dribbled out here and there. (So I can't claim 100% accuracy)

Beating the shit out of a commanding officer can't be good for your career.
Typically, it gets you put in prison for a very long time.

Somebody, and I suspect it was Sam, or it could have been Cooper, pulled a few strings to get Tony Ray released.
But not without a price. Tony Ray just ceased to exist.

I'm going to assume that Brice is well, perhaps with a few scars, hanging out somewhere.
Personally, I thought that was him in the hospital sweet talking some comatose patient.
The body that we'd see earlier with the shotgun shell must be the "local Raynard" that went missing.
And of course, Scotty's hanging on the father's wall.

Wasn't the 'local reynard' the guy who was mistaken fir Brice by Uthy and her partner? Whom she inadvertantly killed with an OD after fucking him? Brice's dad set him up to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That's what you might assume, but.... we know Scotty's the one that got fucked by the crazy gator and turned into an object 'd art for the old man.
The "local" I must assume was the "ok where did this one come from" dead body we saw on the dirt with the ring and the shotgun shell.

Just saying... ;-)

What an excellent new page!

All the little deails are now being laid out and are beginning to fall into place for our good fellow Sam...

This is gonna be an interesting "date" for them both!

I utterly look forward to it...

Well, yeh, Uncle... Scotty: Scott Rose, accountant for Vandergraff. Set up. 'Local' news item from their home town.

Well, Bryce is going under the ID of Anthony. Sam was looking at news stories for all three and narrating his ability to correlate seemingly unrelated information. Sam initially thought the body might've been Tony's leftovers but recently changed his mind. That recent change of thinking was after he saw the stories for the missing Vandergraf employee and the positive ID of the body. Sam knew he had been had as soon as he did a photo comparison of Scotty and Bryce. If the local boy is Anthony then this was Bryce's handiwork.

The shotgun in the hands of a bloody-mouthed Bryce in Tony's memories had to come from somewhere. The angle of that vision from the vepr's memory had Bryce standing over Tony; however, the last action we had on that storyline did not have the reynard anywhere close to being on his own feet let alone in a position over the boar. I'm thinking the popgun came from the mysterious dead local who came across Mulefoot's carnal lesson in not telling lies. An armed third party is the only scenario I can see that both gets Bryce out from under and gets Mulefoot on the ground.
