I just hope you're not getting the "comic fatigue" that's been going around. My bookmarks have grown thin from artists dropping out of the online comics field in the past two years. It's alarming that one of my most stalwart providers of my comic fix has mentioned again how much she hates the comic that she's been drawing for the past seven years. Please, I'm down to four dailies and fourteen weeklies, and two of those weeklies are really monthlies that I put in the weeklies because I didn't have enough monthlies to justify the division. Oh wait, thirteen weeklies; I forgot that I have to knock "Machall" off the list since they haven't been updating since September 22.

See what I mean? So, please, don't take it the wrong when I hope you are only sick, Mulefoot.

Am I tired of SLOP? Some days I really am.
However, I love my comic and the characters. If I can help it, I will not stop SLOP until the grand arch for volume one is done. And just how big is the grand arch? *counts in his head* Oh about 120 more pages. Maybe 150.

Due to school, I may switch to a bi-weekly schedule for a while. I'm not sure. I don't want to. I have a story to tell and I really enjoy what I have with my fans. SLOP has been quite rewarding to me.

Originally, SLOP started as an exercise in getting something done. I wanted to prove to myself I could start something and STICK to it. So far, I've done myself proud. I've also grown a great deal as a writer and artist in the year and something that I've been drawing SLOP. I don't even know how long its been. I just know I have to draw.

Incidentally, the japanese rope bondage "filler" page makes me happy anyways! Except for suspensions, I'm all there with bells on

Then the story gets pruned down with the help of Ramseys and a select few that I've bounced ideas off of. Proper pruning helps a tree grow even stronger.

The oldest story idea in my head was Red River and its seed had been there for 4-5 years. Mulefoot himself has been around since 1998 or so, in my head at least. I like letting story ideas incubate a while.[/quote]
