There may be only one saving grace for her,..I believe,...and it has to do with the fact that he even needs to do some thinking...

About what specifically? Well,...he stopped her, you see,....stopped her at a crucial moment in her damning dialogue...

He said "Hush",..and still was begging the fates that she'd say "no" to his relenting to tie her up.. She was digging her potential grave deeper with every word she spoke,..and he said "hush" to shut her up,..perhaps because what he DIDN'T want to hear her say is that she knew he did anything more to those she mentioned (Brice,..the girls) than tie them up,..perhaps give them some pain,..etc...

She hasn't secured her demise just yet,...because she hasn't yet fully revealed that she knows he killed them (or tried to)...

"Like you did to those girls,..like you did to Brice..." She lumps them together as if she thinks they shared the same final fate... Brice was one that "got away",..so perhaps she thinks they all did... Perhaps,..just perhaps,..his unconscious ramblings never revealed to her the true and nasty finality of many of their encounters with him,..and she has NO idea that many of them never made it home....

Perhaps what he must go think about is a way to approach her,..to question her under the duress of her bonds and a bit of S & M,... in a way that will let him know the truth of the depth of her knowledge concerning him,..without giving HER a clue concerning what he has truly done,..what he is capable of,..and what he may yet do,...to her.......

If there is any chance for her,..it's that she truly doesn't realize what he is,..and her eventual testimony proves to him that she isn't truly another "loose end"... The trick for him then, and perhaps what he must carefully consider,..is how to find out without going too far,..without (due to the nature of his interrogation) making her a loose end regardless of what she currently knows...

She honestly may think that she was going to be on the receiving end of some nasty yet playful bondage kink (apparently right up her alley),..like so many of the others she heard him mumble sparingly about in his sleep... If so,..then,..maybe,..just maybe,..she might live to see another day... Hopefully remaining just as ignorant (and alive) when he's "done" with her...

Or,..she may actually know more than he thinks she should about his terrible secrets,..the actual deaths, the blood on his hands,.....and if THIS is confirmed to him,.....well.... this may be the last "good Samaritan" act she ever orchestrates....

More dangerous than a Mulefoot in a killing mood is perhaps a Mulefoot wandering off to do some thinking. He might just forget to return in time, and come to his senses two states down the road.

I don't think he's planning his next move rationally; not anymore. For once he's got a willing victim whose eagerness cuts short his normal, gradual decline into the murky depths of his urges. But by victimizing her, she victimizes him in return: if he does her in, consenting as she is, it'll feed and justify his dark side, and he might just give up struggling against it thereafter. Yet he's a boar who hates to be manipulated, but how to punish a girl who's going for the ultimate punishment? While he may be the one still able to leave the building, Jen has tied him up just as inescapably.

One other question bothers me: is it really just the cheap kink that motivates Jen? Or is there a deeper reason behind her death wish? Maybe she doesn't trust her own altruistic tendencies, and Mules is just the self-fulfilling prophecy to teach her that no good deed goes unpunished. Everything's a medicine. Sometimes you just miscalculate the dosage.

Kids: never top from the bottom with a stranger. And always let somebody know where you are, preferably somebody who knows how to... resuscitate... you...
