Some sloppy sketches :P

An anatomy sketch, not quite right but I thought it worth posting.

I like both these sketches. In particular, I like the direction you're in with Mulefoot's anatomy. You've made him more bestial, which I dig. More sinister too. Make him a bit more a knuckle dragger and you'll be at a very cool place, I think.

Thanks for sharing the sketches.

I like these too... For me,..the second one I find really nice because of the enjoyable use of white and black backgrounds for the sketchy goodness,..and an especially nice aspect to the quick, clothed charicature...

Me likes what you've done with his skull, it gives him a sort of predatory air.

I like the shirt in the second one... flannel over a white tee, I assume. Comfort clothes, good for warmth and the occasional killin'

Thanks guys! I haven't drawn pigs before mulefoot (well, maybe a warthog or two) so I'm still figuring out what's characteristic about their anatomy. Especially the face; I'm sure there's some canid bleed-through as I draw wolves all the time XD (though it's possibly hidden by the simple style...)

I love drawing savage/bestial critters, and mulefoot (the character) certainly can be such, but it seems our illustrious creator often emphasizes other traits; so I played with the theme where he talked with his nega-self and tried to draw a sort of older/tired/lost mulefoot with his predatory personna in the background.

Flannel plus white tshirt... comfort clothes indeed! Not sure how good they are for the slaughter; white shows blood awful well. Looks pretty but can raise a few eyebrows after. It's all about killing starkers!
